Description

We offer an opportunity you simply won’t find anywhere else. In less than five years, Mileway has grown into Europe’s leader in last mile logistics real estate, with a 550-plus team across more than twenty-six offices in eleven countries.
We’re looking for a proactive and driven IT Support Specialist to provide ongoing application support and operational assistance to our 550+ employees across 27+ offices in Europe. The ideal candidate will be a leader, natural problem solver, and a great collaborator, eager to apply their exceptional IT knowledge and maintain a helpful attitude.
You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our IT workplace and Office automation. You will provide support to approximately 150 users in our Amsterdam office and help your team members support our other offices in Europe. You will be responsible for addressing both functional and technical queries, implementing standard changes, keeping stock of our IT assets, assisting with employee on/off-boarding processes, and facilitating seamless meeting room setups.

Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive onsite support to end-users, addressing both functional and technical inquiries with professionalism and expertise.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to take charge of situations and guide others effectively.
  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring that new employees have the necessary IT resources on their first day and departing employees are seamlessly offboarded from our systems.
  • Collaborating with our external IT supplier and following up on open tickets to help the user as quickly as possible.
  • Facilitate the setup and troubleshooting of meeting rooms and audio-visual equipment, ensuring that all meetings run smoothly without technical interruptions.
  • Maintain accurate registration of support tickets and IT assets (CMDB) through our Jira (ITSM) tool.
  • Take proactive measures to identify and resolve potential IT issues before they escalate, demonstrating initiative and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Work independently to manage your workload effectively, prioritizing tasks based on urgency and impact on business operations.
  • Collaborate with other members of the IT team to implement new solutions and optimize existing processes, enhancing the overall efficiency of our IT operations.
  • Part of a project group that works in an Agile way.
  • Traveling and visiting other European offices to provide support.
