QUALIFICATIONS:

  • BA/BS degree in IT related field with a minimum of 2+ years relevant IT work experience
  • Hospitality Experience Preferred
  • Strong understanding of cyber security and Anti-virus/Malware solutions
  • Ability to troublshoot Microsoft and Apple environments
  • Ability to learn on the fly, adapt, problem solve.
  • Ability to think and react in a high-energy, fast paced environment
  • Effective interpersonal skills, including oral and written communication
  • Highly self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail
  • Capable of lifting PC(s) and peripheral equipment if necessary
  • Microsoft 365 Experience
  • Ability to be on-call during the weekends is a must

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with and back-up the IT team members to ensure efficient operation of the organization’s office environments
  • Maintain, upgrade and promptly troubleshoot the following hardware, software and peripherals: PC Workstation, POS (Toast, Micros), Website back-end management, Microsoft Office Suite and Office 365, Data Back-ups, and Camera Systems
  • Manage and support Online Ordering and 3rd party ordering infrastructure.
  • Accounts and license management for various systems across the company
  • Provide support for Mac OS, Windows, iOS, and Android devices
  • Assist IT Team in deployments of new technologies
  • Maintain Mobile Device Management (MDM) system for Corporately owned devices.
  • Protect IT infrastructure, networks and data with firewall management and VPN set up and management
  • Coordinate with 3rd party vendors for PC and printer hardware repairs, installation of cabling and network equipment, and other IT related service calls
  • Train staff on optimal workstation functionality
  • Maintain inventory of all IT equipment, hardware and software
  • Build and update support documentation for Lessing’s.
  • Willing to travel to locations as needed
  • Local travel in Suffolk County for maintenance, upgrades and/or IT coverage
