Description

Lootah Biofuels is seeking a reliable and proactive IT Support Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing day-to-day IT support across the company, ensuring smooth operation of laptops, systems, and networks. You will play a key role in onboarding new employees, issuing laptops, setting up accounts, and resolving technical issues efficiently.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Proven experience in IT support, helpdesk, or system administration.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows & Office 365 setup and troubleshooting.
  • Basic knowledge of networking (LAN/WAN, routers, switches, Wi-Fi).
  • Ability to set up laptops, configure software, and manage user accounts.
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.

PREFERRED SKILLS

  • Experience with IT asset management.
  • Familiarity with IT security best practices.
  • Knowledge of backup solutions and cloud systems.

Responsibilities
  • Issue laptops, desktops, and IT equipment to new joinees and configure them according to company standards.
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot operating systems, applications, printers, and peripheral devices.
  • Provide technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues for employees.
  • Manage user accounts, email setup, and access permissions.
  • Monitor system performance and respond to IT incidents in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate with vendors for IT procurement and maintenance.
  • Maintain inventory of IT equipment and ensure proper documentation.
  • Ensure security compliance for devices and systems (antivirus, updates, backups, etc.).
  • Support remote and on-site employees with technical issues.
