Description

Magna Systems, a growing IT company, seeks a highly motivated IT Infrastructure & Support Specialist for a full-time role in our new Manchester office. This position blends technical expertise with customer service, focusing on managing daily helpdesk tickets while maintaining and supporting IT systems, representing the company, and providing technical solutions.
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in managing and supporting IT infrastructure, including experience with cloud services, networking, cybersecurity, and various software applications. You will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems, providing both proactive and reactive support, and maintaining high levels of system uptime.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Proven experience in managing Azure (computing and networking), Hyper-V, and Active Directory services.
  • Proficient in Windows Server and basic Linux server administration.
  • Strong understanding of M365 services including Exchange Online, SharePoint, and Teams administration.
  • Experience managing Cisco, Meraki, Fortinet, SonicWall, and WatchGuard firewalls and networking systems.
  • Sound knowledge of cybersecurity principles, email security, and Acronis backup solutions.
  • Experience with telephony systems such as 3CX, Teams Telephony, and Horizon by Gamma.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering high-quality support.
  • Experience with Kaseya products, Keyloop Drive, BMW ISPA systems, Sage 50 Payroll, and Exclaimer a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE), CompTIA Network+, Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), or equivalent).
  • Familiarity with PowerShell scripting and automation.
  • Previous experience working with automotive IT systems and solutions.

  • Administer Keyloop Drive systems for the automotive industry.
  • Provide support for BMW ISPA, ISPI, KAI, SA3, SGate systems.
  • Manage Sage 50 Payroll to ensure accurate payroll processing.
  • Configure and manage Exclaimer email signature solutions.
  • Implement and support Power Automate workflows to optimize business processes.
  • Provide scripting support using PowerShell for automation and task management.
  • Oversee contract and invoice management processes to ensure proper financial tracking.
