JOB DESCRIPTION: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Specialist to join our team. As an IT Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical support, maintaining hardware and software systems, and ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate should possess a strong knowledge of IT systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment. Responsibilities: Provide technical support to end-users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues promptly and efficiently. Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, networks, and peripheral devices. Collaborate with team members to ensure the security and integrity of our IT infrastructure. Manage and monitor system backups, data recovery, and disaster recovery procedures. Assist in the implementation of new software applications and system upgrades. Conduct regular system performance evaluations and identify areas for improvement. Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and make recommendations for system enhancements. Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven experience as an IT Specialist or in a similar role. Strong knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, and network administration. Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues. Familiarity with network protocols, security protocols, and data backup/recovery. Experience with system administration, including Active Directory and Group Policy management. Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams. Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional) are a plus.
