Position Summary The IT Support Technician will provide hands-on technical support to both office staff and warehouse operations at our new distribution center. This role is responsible for day-to-day IT support including desktops, printers, mobile warehouse devices, and production-floor technology. The ideal candidate is comfortable troubleshooting in an office environment and on the warehouse floor, supporting end users with varying levels of technical experience.   Key Responsibilities End-User & Office Support * Provide first- and second-level technical support for office users, including desktops, laptops, monitors, peripherals, and basic networking issues * Support Microsoft 365 applications (Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, SharePoint) * Troubleshoot Windows OS issues, user access, and basic account management * Install, configure, and maintain laser printers and related print services * Respond to help desk tickets and provide timely resolution and follow-up Warehouse & Operations Technology Support * Support warehouse scan guns, handheld RF devices, and vehicle-mounted terminals * Troubleshoot Zebra printers (label printers, thermal printers) including connectivity, calibration, and media issues * Assist with the setup, testing, and deployment of warehouse hardware and peripherals * Provide on-site support to warehouse associates with minimal downtime to operations * Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for hardware repair or replacement Systems & Applications * Support operational systems used within the distribution center * QAD ERP software support is a plus, including basic troubleshooting and user assistance * Document common issues, resolutions, and standard operating procedures * Assist with new hire onboarding and technology setup Required Qualifications * 2+ years of IT support experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment * Strong working knowledge of: * Windows operating systems * Microsoft 365 applications * Desktop and laptop hardware * Laser printers * Zebra printers and barcode labeling solutions * Hands-on experience supporting warehouse mobile devices (scan guns, RF units, vehicle-mounted devices) * Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills * Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, operational environment Preferred Qualifications * Prior experience in a distribution center or warehouse environment * Familiarity with basic networking concepts (wired and wireless) * Experience working with ticketing systems and IT documentation * Experience supporting QAD ERP software   Skills and Abilities * Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods * Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs * Comfortable working in an active distribution center environment * Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical users * Patient, service-oriented mindset * Ability to prioritize and manage multiple requests * Team-oriented  * Strong sense of ownership   Sugar Foods Corporation is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
