JOB DESCRIPTION

Position: IT Support Specialist
Location: Corporate Headquarters, Winnsboro, Texas
Reports to: Supervisor-IT Support
Employment Shift: Full Time, exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act
Travel: Travel not required

Responsibilities, not limited to:

  • Use strong technical skills to promptly address hardware and software issues.
  • Provide support and guidance for our internally developed software platform and applications.
  • Independently identify, research, and resolve technical issues.
  • Determine levels of technical issues and assign appropriate personnel within the IT department.
  • Document, track and monitor requests for support to ensure timely resolution.
  • Assist in the installation, maintenance, configuration, backup, and general support of IT assets
  • Document processes and maintain project/trouble ticket status.
  • Liaise with senior IT staff with projects, as needed.
  • Perform as a member of an after-hours on-call rotation.
  • Other duties as assigned

Skills and Qualifications, not limited to:

  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in desktop and remote support
  • Strong customer service skills, and drive to take ownership of issues
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excels at task prioritization and evaluation of situational urgency
  • Experience providing technical support via phone, e-mail, and in-person
  • Experience supporting Windows 10/Windows 11
  • Experience supporting iOS/Android mobile devices
  • Experience supporting Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience with basic networking
