REQUIREMENTS

  • B.S. in Information Technology, equivalent education, work experience or a combination of the two.
  • 2+ years of desktop support experience in Enterprise level IT environments.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, EntraID, Intune, SharePoint and JIRA.
  • Strong knowledge of hardware, software, networking, and security protocols.
  • Experience drafting and presenting technical documentation.
  • Familiarity with DoD STIGs, NIST and other security-related requirements is a plus.
  • Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to travel up to 20% based on company needs. Ability to support occasional after-hours and weekend support for upgrades and emergencies.
  • This is a hybrid position and currently requires three days in office (Tuesday to Thursday).

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Applicants must be a U.S. Citizen and willing and eligible to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance at the Secret or Top-Secret level. Existing clearance is preferred.
Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and provide hands-on and remote technical support to staff for hardware, software, network or other technological items.
  • Assist with onboarding new employees, including and setting up new devices, accounts and access to company resources.
  • Manage and track IT inventory including devices and licenses.
  • Install, maintain, monitor IT systems to ensure optimal performance, availability, reliability and security. Perform basic network maintenance and system upgrades, including patches, hot fixes, and security configurations. Manage network and data security, including firewalls, antivirus, and email security.
  • Manage and monitor SIEM systems for threat detection, incident response, and security monitoring. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies, and recommend solutions to improve efficiency and security.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of IT systems, processes, and procedures. Create user manuals and guides as needed. Document all technical support interactions and resolutions.
  • Configure and manage Microsoft 365/Entra ID tenant. Use Microsoft Intune for device and application management. Implement device compliance, app protection, and conditional access policies to ensure secure access to organizational resources.
  • Assist in managing the SharePoint Online environment. Ensure optimal performance, security, and availability of SharePoint sites. Implement and manage SharePoint features such as workflows, data tagging, and permissions.
  • Manage Jira workflows and service management processes, including request handling, incident management, and change management. Customize workflows to align with business processes and improve efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations. Follow security best practices to protect sensitive data and systems. Implement security tools, policies, and procedures in conjunction with the company’s security team.
