We are seeking an experienced IT Support Specialist to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and a passion for providing exceptional customer service. This individual will be responsible for providing technical support to our staff and ensuring that our systems and equipment are functioning properly. Key Responsibilities: - Provide technical support to staff for hardware, software, and network related issues - Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems in a timely and efficient manner - Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, software, and peripherals - Monitor and maintain network security, including firewalls and antivirus software - Conduct regular backups and ensure data integrity - Manage user accounts and permissions - Train staff on new systems and software as needed - Stay up-to-date on industry trends and advancements in technology - Collaborate with other IT team members to develop and implement new systems and processes - Maintain inventory of all hardware and software and ensure all equipment is properly maintained - Manage vendor relationships and ensure timely resolution of any technical issues - Provide after-hours support as needed Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field - Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role - Strong knowledge of computer systems, networks, and software applications - Experience with Microsoft Office, Windows operating systems, and Active Directory - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work independently and in a team environment - Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes
