The Industrial Laboratories Company, Inc. is a busy and growing analytical testing laboratory located in Denver, CO. Industrial Laboratories services a wide spectrum of industries with an emphasis on drug testing services for racehorses, sled dogs, livestock.

Technical Knowledge:

  • Operating systems: Windows, macOS, mobile OS (iOS/Android)
  • Network fundamentals (LAN/WAN, firewalls, VPN, etc.)
  • Software license management and IT asset tracking
  • IT ticketing/helpdesk platforms (Zoho preferred, ServiceNow, Jira, etc.)
  • Endpoint security, backup, and recovery tool

Skills:

  • Ability to communicate and convey concepts, changes, and other relevant tasks professionally and clearly.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal communication
  • Conflict resolution and team motivation
  • Time management and organizational skills
  • Vendor and budget negotiation
  • Ability to manage and prioritize technical support workflow

Experience:

  • 3-5 years in IT support, with 1-2 in a supervisory or lead role
  • Proven experience with hardware/software procurement and lifecycle management
  • Experience in administrative duties such as disciplinary actions and payroll/timekeeping tool
Responsibilities
  • Supervise day-to-day IT support operations and ensure service-level goals are met
  • Provide technical guidance and escalated support to IT support staff
  • Oversee the purchasing and inventory management of IT equipment and software
  • Approve employee time cards, manage scheduling, and coordinate PTO coverage
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, administer disciplinary actions as needed
  • Maintain documentation and enforce IT support procedures and policies
  • Communicate effectively with department heads to assess and fulfill technology needs
  • Manage vendor relationships and negotiate equipment/software quotes
  • Ensure compliance with internal security and data protection policies
