Description:

Cloudhead Games is the veteran VR studio behind the multi-award winning titles, Pistol Whip, an action-rhythm shooter (GOTY, DICE Awards) and the fantasy adventure series, The Gallery (GOTY, VR Awards.) Cloudhead has partnered multiple times with industry legend Valve to create tech demos, with the most notable being Aperture Hand Lab, a humorous Valve Index controller demo set in the Portal Universe. Always innovating, Cloudhead is also known for its early solutions in VR locomotion/comfort with snap turns and teleportation, as well as VR motion capture and hand interactions.
Cloudhead Games is a fully remote company working Pacific Time Zone hours.
As an IT Support Technician at Cloudhead Games, you will work closely with the IT Manager to provide essential support across our studio, troubleshooting technical issues, managing IT assets and helping ensure smooth operations for our development team.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the IT Manager to support the IT department and assist with day-to-day technical operations for the studio
  • Provide first-level IT support by troubleshooting hardware, software, network issues and VR setups
  • Manage, process and track IT-related purchases including hardware, peripherals and software tools
  • Create, update and maintain documentation related to IT support processes, troubleshooting procedures and systems setup
  • Assist in the management and allocation of Unity assets for the development team, ensuring assets are organized and optimised for use in projects
  • Monitor and maintain security, perform regular scans and address alerts promptly
  • Support the maintenance and accuracy of the studio’s asset inventory tool, tracking hardware and software assets, and assisting with regular audits
  • Assist with the onboarding and offboarding of employees, including setting up new accounts, configuring devices and securely managing account deactivation
  • Provide after-hours support as needed to resolve technical issues and ensure minimal disruption to studio operations
