Description Reports To The IT Support Technician will report to the Director of Technology. Job Summary The IT Support Technician will be responsible for end-user technical support as well as equipment and system maintenance. Responsibilities and Duties The role is responsible to monitor and maintain the computer systems and networks at EP². Provide support to all department employees including configuring, managing, updating and troubleshooting various technology devices. Provide maintenance and troubleshooting on the network, VOIP phone system, Wi-Fi and other IT infrastructure equipment. Work with third party support services to escalate and resolve complex issues. Set up and manage accounts and profiles for users. Research, test and evaluate new technology. Maintain inventory management systems and networking support. Complete account management, user training and server maintenance. Contribute to the Strategic Plan of the Organization. Help set Cybersecurity standards. Requirements Qualifications Associates of Arts focused in Information Technology Preferred. Entry level IT support work. 1-2 years’ experience preferred. Experience with Windows Networking, Active Directory & Cybersecurity. Experience in troubleshooting, problem-solving and support skills. Basic understanding of various Information System frameworks. Ability to plan and organize with attention to detail. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Physical Requirements Typically sits, grasps items, and performs keyboarding for the regular operation of a computer. Stand, walk, bend, reach, or otherwise move about regularly. Lift, move, or otherwise transfer items up to 30 lbs. occasionally. Occasional exposure to typical manufacturing production physical hazards.
