Since the release of our flagship title – PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS – in 2017, it has become one of the highest selling video games of all time with over 70 million copies sold.
We are headquartered in Seoul, South Korea, with regional KRAFTON offices located across the globe.
Our Amsterdam Office is KRAFTON’s EMEA Headquarters which covers the Europe, Middle East & Africa, and the CIS regions, with teams dedicated to Publishing, Esports, Content, Communications and General Operations. These teams support all local offices and development studios in our region.
Onsite, our Amsterdam Office also houses PUBG Studios which is busy with the development of an exciting new IP, currently known as Project “Black Budget”.
The position of IT Support Technician will provide rapid and thorough IT support across business and game development teams. Working closely with the Amsterdam IT team and liaising, when needed, with head office in Korea. The position will be demanding, providing exposure to a wide range of IT-related tasks and projects.
The ideal candidate will be capable of working independently as well as with colleagues, will be professional and proactive when working with user requests as well as process oriented to ensure smooth task and project completion.
Basic Roles and Responsibilities:
Diagnosing and resolving technical issues
Providing desktop support
Setting up and configuring new laptops and desktops
Ensuring security and upgrades are applied to desktops and laptops and kept up to date in cooperation with HQ
Ensuring that a high level of professional customer service and support is provided to all internal and external customers
Delivering a high degree of proactivity to ensure users receive the correct support
IT asset management
Driving the business forward with IT projects to deliver new systems and functionality

REQUIRED SKILLS:

Fluent in verbal and written English
Able to work in an environment with rapidly evolving requirements and frequent fast turnarounds on results
Self motivated and proactive – able to work
Be customer focused, goal-oriented and driven
“Nice to have” experience:
Work experience in a similar role, especially elsewhere in the games industry
Some experience with Windows or Linux server management
Some experience with applications/system such as Perforce, NAS storage, VM’s
Experience working with globally distributed teams or with a Head Office in another country
Any IT certifications
