Description

Holdcroft Motor Group is looking for an IT Field Support Engineer to join our central team. If you’re great with people and even better with technology, this is your chance to support our dealerships across the Midlands and North West, ensuring our teams stay connected and our systems stay seamless. As our Field Engineer, you are the face of IT. You’ll be the "boots on the ground" helping our staff solve everyday technical hurdles. Hands-on Support: Providing 1st and 2nd line technical support for PCs, laptops, printers, and mobile devices. Setup & Install: Configuring and deploying new hardware and software across our various dealership locations. Troubleshooting: Solving network connectivity issues (Wi-Fi, cabling) and software glitches (Windows 10/11, Office 365, Google Workspace). Security: Ensuring all systems are up to date with the latest security patches. What You Bring to the Table Experience: Previous experience in an IT support role (1st or 2nd line). Tech Skills: Solid knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft Office/365, and basic networking (cabling, routers, switches). Hardware Knowledge: Comfortable taking apart a PC or setting up a workstation. Communication: You can explain technical issues in "plain English" to non-tech colleagues. The Drive: A Full UK Driving Licence is essential for this role. Ready to hit the road and solve some tech? Apply now and join the Holdcroft IT team! Every application is reviewed by a human member of our team. While we use AI to stay organised, we never use it to rank or reject candidates. We value your experience, not just your keywords. Note to Recruitment Agencies: Holdcroft Motor Group manages this vacancy through our internal Talent Team. We do not require support from recruitment agencies and will not accept unsolicited CVs.
