You’ll gain experience across: IT infrastructure Telecommunications Sensors and security systems (doors, cameras) Audio and video systems And more Job Overview Provide Level 1–4 IT support both remotely and onsite to a diverse client base. You will play a key role in the strategy, management, and maintenance of client technology infrastructure. Key Responsibilities Deliver remote and onsite IT support Manage and maintain client infrastructure Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues Assist with system migrations and deployments Ensure optimal system performance and customer satisfaction Requirements Technical Skills: Server and network management experience Workstation and server migrations Windows OS support (Windows 7–11 required) Windows Server (2016–2025 preferred) Networking Knowledge: Firewalls (DNAT, port forwarding, WAN/LAN, VLANs) Switches (VLANs, OSI model understanding) Access points (including point-to-point systems) Cisco or Ubiquiti/UniFi experience (certifications a plus) Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills Friendly and personable demeanor Strong organizational skills High attention to detail and memory retention Customer-focused and calm under pressure Strong work ethic and commitment to quality Additional Requirements: Ability to use power tools Willingness to travel as needed Preferred Experience Experience in any of the following is a plus: Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment Point of Sale (POS) systems Retail (grocery, convenience stores, petroleum) Restaurants Medical or dental software Manufacturing or industrial systems CRM, ERP, or MRP systems Microsoft SQL Server VMware or Hyper-V Wireshark and Linux command line Compensation Salary: $40,000 – $60,000 per year (Based on experience, skills, and certifications) Benefits Paid time off Flexible hours Tools and technology provided Company vehicle and gas Meals and lodging covered for out-of-area work Job Type Full-time Requirements Experience Requirements MSP experience: 1 year (Preferred) General technology experience: 1 year (Preferred) Location Requirements Must be able to commute to Muskegon, MI (49444) Must be willing to relocate before starting if not local Additional Preferences Preference will be given to candidates with: Clean background (no prior convictions or felonies) Military service (especially with active security clearance) Clean driving record 3+ professional references
