JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Manage regular maintenance where applicable
  • Handle PCs, Notebooks, Peripherals and printer’s faults
  • Maintain Desktops hardware configuration and operating systems Handles software troubleshooting and set up New PCs and installation of Standard Office Applications
  • Troubleshoot users dial-up problems, limit the use of USB/storage media, restrict/limit use of personal email and cloud services or suggest bit locker drive encryption function
  • Handle Email support for desktops
  • Handles PCs, notebooks, peripherals installation, upgrades and internal relocation
  • Ensure that all users are able to log in to the company network
  • Defect and eliminate of computer viruses
  • Troubleshooting of problems encountered by End Users
  • Perform asset tagging, access card/ RFID issuance, management and security control
  • Handle any end users IT related requests with SPOC approval
  • Create monthly case report and monitoring using excel spreadsheet
  • Liaise with 3rd party IT supplier on server and replication to manage and control overall security of server
  • Run functional tests as well as user acceptance test with a view to provide fast delivery to a wide user base across front office, back office and IT
  • Provide technical alternatives, recommendations or solutions to end users
  • Review current process & procedures to suggest improvement where applicable
  • Review and maintain software licensing, domain & email hosting, cloud hosting for messaging gateways, cable patching works
  • Responsible to carry out annual vulnerability assessment to the internal server to identify, review and mitigate any system vulnerability in a timely manner such as open ports, insecure software configuration and susceptibility to malware, buffer overflow exploit etc.
  • Plan and conduct annual Disaster Recovery Plan (DRP) to test, maintain and train any requirement to ensure that changes to IT infrastructure, processes, procedures, and organizational structure areas taken into accounts and updated. All testing plans and result must be documented with action plans to resolve and retest exceptions.
  • Installation of patch, change of in network security policy, reconfiguration the network devices, educating users about social engineering
