Description

We are looking for an IT Support Technician to join our team at Quantic Lab in Cluj.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Good spoken and written English is mandatory
  • Good communication and inter-personal skills, with a positive, calm attitude and oriented towards identifying solutions and solving problems
  • Previous experience providing IT support
  • Good knowledge of computer systems, both in terms of hardware and software
  • Strong knowledge of Desktop Windows Operating Systems
  • Strong knowledge of desktop applications, like MS Office suite and alternatives, browsers, Antivirus software etc.
  • Ability to write and maintain IT documentation e.g. FAQ, troubleshooting guides etc.
  • Able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to prioritize tasks
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Must be self-motivated with the ability to handle changing priorities, different personalities, and multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to assimilate new knowledge
  • Should be passionate about IT, especially new hardware and software
Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide 1st & 2nd level support for company users, analyzing and resolving possible causes of hardware/software problems on a wide variety of devices (PC Desktops, PC Laptops, MAC computers and laptops, Linux PCs, Smartphones, Consoles, Handheld consoles, Printers)
  • Configure, assemble, disassemble and perform general maintenance on Computer Systems
  • Install, configure and perform general maintenance on a wide variety of Operating Systems (both desktop and mobile) and software programs
  • Relocating user workstations
  • AD user administration, Security group management
  • Perform basic network configurations and troubleshoot basic networking issues
  • Manage Helpdesk tickets and follow-up with other support staff, raise issues to the next level of support
  • Enter data into various databases, including IT Service Management System
  • Perform user configuration in various databases, like Redmine, TestLink, etc.
  • Perform inventory of various Hardware and Software assets
  • Perform other duties as assigned
