Description
Description We are seeking an experienced IT Support Technician to support our truck dealership's IT environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in IT support, a passion for technology, and experience in environments related to dealerships. Key Responsibilities: Provide technical assistance and support to dealership staff. Install, diagnose, repair, maintain, and upgrade dealership desktop computer hardware and equipment. Ensure seamless integration and functionality of desktop computers with dealership-specific systems (CRM, inventory management, etc.). Provide hands-on support for network-related issues, including LAN/WAN and VoIP systems. Manage user access, system security, and data integrity for computing environments. Conduct training sessions for staff on new software/applications relevant to dealership operations. Offer exceptional customer service to all staff, addressing IT-related incidents and requests promptly. Support multiple locations with travel required. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent, Associate’s degree preferred Proven experience as an IT Support Technician, supporting Office, Windows, Active Directory, Microsoft365. Experience with Mobile device management including IOS and Android devices. Strong understanding of computer hardware, software, printers/copiers, and network systems. Experience using a ticketing system, where all requests are logged and resolved within established SLA’s. Familiarity with dealership management software and automotive industry-specific applications is a plus. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to perform under pressure. Outstanding communication skills, capable of explaining technical issues in simple terms. A commitment to maintaining the highest level of customer satisfaction. Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+/Network+, Microsoft Certified Professional) are desirable. High level of organizational skills and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Valid driver’s license with good driving record. Must have reliable transportation to travel to other store locations Occasional evening or weekend hours will be required. Compensation: Pay rate starting at $26.00/hour, and will vary based on experience. Job Type: Full-time (8am to 5pm), Onsite in New Boston, MI (Not Remote)
