Description

ABOUT US

Caring since 1946, Strode Park Foundation provides vital care and support services, supported living opportunities and day and leisure services for young people and adults with a range of disabilities across Kent. Our values of Care, Inspire and Together underpin everything we do, and we are very proud to employ truly inspirational people who make our care setting a remarkable place to work.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

Our ideal IT Support Technician will have:

  • Previous relevant experience of Level 1 and 2 support in a service desk type role (or IT support role), or IT Level 3 qualification or apprenticeship.
  • Grades A-C (9-4) in GCSE maths and English language (or Functional Skills Level 2 or A-levels)
  • The ability to work effectively and prioritise own workload.
  • A driving licence in order to travel and work across all the Foundation’s services.
  • Flexibility to occasionally work anti-social hours due to the requirement to share out-of-hours cover with the Senior Support Technician.

Although not essential, knowledge of WatchGuard routers and Samsung Knox would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

Are you tech-savvy with a passion for delivering outstanding IT support to service users? Do you have knowledge of computer hardware and software and love problem solving?
If so, we’d love to hear from you! Strode Park Foundation is seeking to hire a part-time junior IT Support Technician (4 days a week) with PC hardware and software experience working within a first- and second-line service desk IT support environment.
The role will include working on multi-sites, managing user accounts and emails, setting up and building computer systems, running phishing email training, working with our residents on the care floor as needed and out-of-hours support at some weekends.
This salary offered for this role is £20,584.80 per annum (based on 28 hrs pw).
