IT SUPPORT TECHNICIAN

TechLink Managed IT is on the lookout for a proactive and customer-focused IT Support Technician who loves solving problems, learning new technologies, and helping clients succeed.
You’ll be part of our frontline support team, assisting with Level 1 technical issues, project setups, and ongoing client support - both on-site and remotely. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, thrives in a collaborative team, and wants to grow their career in a fast-moving MSP environment.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Office/Microsoft 365 Administration

    • Including SharePoint, Security, Teams Phone System, Azure, and desktop Applications

    • Remote Desktop Services
    • LAN/WAN networking

    SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE DESIRED (BUT NOT ESSENTIAL):

    • Deploying Windows Server and Windows Server Technologies
    • Experience with Virtualisation Technologies
    • Experience with more advanced networking (802.1q, 802.1x, dynamic routing etc)
    • Firewalls (creating/editing rule bases, remote access and site to site VPNs)
    • IP Telephony
    • Experience with desktop presentation - Microsoft RDS or Azure Virtual Desktop
    • Experience with security platforms and processes.

    Responsibilities

    We’re looking for someone who can:

    • Provide high Level 1 technical support both on-site and remotely.
    • Assist with setting up, installing, and onboarding new and existing projects for our clients.
    • Document solutions, environments, and processes for our clients.
    • Travel as required from time to time

    To ensure effective project delivery, you will utilise various systems, including Autotask, IT Glue, Datto RMM, and Microsoft 365 Management applications.
