The IBI – Institute for Education in the Information Society is a non-profit cooperative institute of the TU Berlin. Here, people from various disciplines work together towards the goal of strengthening the use of digital media in education and rehabilitation within the prison system.

What is it about?

• We operate a platform (elis) for the justice system of 14 German federal states and Austria for inmates and (social) educational staff based on open-source software.
• We are immediately seeking a team leader for the remote administration of training environments for elis use in correctional facilities in several German states, with a workload of 32-40 hours per week.

What are your tasks?

• Professional leadership of a small team
• Planning and coordination of activities/deployment planning
• Contributing to the conception and implementation of innovative remote maintenance solutions in the enforcement sector
• Communication with clients and contact persons
• Creation of service reports, SLA monitoring, escalation management

What are you bringing?

• Enjoyment of a socially relevant activity with a dedicated team that values ​​social skills.
• Training or studies in the IT field or comparable experience
• Excellent communication skills and independent work organization
• High level of initiative, creativity and sense of responsibility
• Experience in the professional leadership of teams
• Expertise in Microsoft-based, distributed environments (domain structures, GPO management, client management)
