Awtad is looking for a dedicated IT System Administrator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will oversee the company's IT infrastructure, ensuring it runs smoothly and efficiently. As an IT System Administrator, you will be responsible for the configuration, maintenance, and support of all IT systems, hardware, and software environments. You will play a critical role in managing user accounts, maintaining data security, and troubleshooting system issues promptly to minimize downtime. Responsibilities Install, configure, and maintain servers, networks, and IT infrastructure. Monitor system performance and ensure the reliability and security of the IT environment. Manage user accounts, access controls, and permissions across various platforms. Perform regular backups, updates, and patch management to maintain system integrity. Implement security measures, including firewalls and antivirus solutions, to protect sensitive data. Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues in a timely manner. Document system processes, configurations, and technical support activities. Collaborate with other IT team members to support ongoing projects and system improvements. Provide technical support and training to staff regarding IT resources and technology. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline. Minimum of 4 years’ experience as an IT System Administrator or similar role. Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems, networking, and virtualization technologies. Experience with system monitoring tools and performance optimization techniques. Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure, etc.) is an advantage. Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Good communication and customer service skills.
