JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced System Administrator to manage and maintain our IT infrastructure, ensuring the stability, security, and efficiency of our systems. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Windows Active Directory, File Server Management, Group Policy, Networking, and Firewall Administration.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2+ years of experience in system administration, particularly in a Windows environment.
  • Proficiency in Windows Server (2016/2019/2022), Active Directory, and Group Policy.
  • Experience in file server management, permissions, and access controls.
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs, etc.).
  • Hands-on experience with firewall administration (preferably FortiGate).
  • Knowledge of virtualization technologies (Hyper-V, VMware) is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Responsibilities
  • Administer and maintain Windows Server environments, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Manage Active Directory (AD), including user and group management, domain services, and security policies.
  • Configure and enforce Group Policies (GPOs) to ensure compliance and security.
  • Maintain and monitor File Servers, ensuring optimal performance and security.
  • Oversee network infrastructure, including switches, routers, VLANs, and DHCP/DNS.
  • Administer and configure firewalls (preferably FortiGate or equivalent) to ensure network security.
  • Perform regular system updates, patches, and security enhancements.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshooting issues related to servers, network, and security.
  • Ensure proper backup and disaster recovery procedures are in place and tested regularly.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for end-users and IT operations.
  • Document configurations, processes, and troubleshooting guides for internal use.
