Job description

Design, implementation and operation of various servers and production IT systems (hardware, operating systems, network, management systems, databases, storage, etc.)
Recording, analysis and administration of technical problems (diagnosis, troubleshooting, prevention, monitoring, safeguarding)
Network optimization and configuration of central systems and end devices
Management of physical network connections (cables, patch panels, etc.)
Performing functional tests
Creation and further development of documentation, specifications and emergency manuals
User hotline
Evaluation of new technologies

Qualifications

Successfully completed vocational training or ideally a completed IT degree
at least 10 years of professional experience in system administration and with IT projects
Solid knowledge of system and network administration in a manufacturing company
solid expertise in IT security and its guarantee
Experience in using hyperconverged infrastructures, cloud services, and in handling Microsoft systems
Project experience and successes in implementing company-specific requirements
Strong analytical, customer- and service-oriented thinking and action
Enthusiasm for the evaluation and use of new technologies
Taking responsibility for one's actions through open communication
German language skills at least at level B2
Strong teamwork skills
