Our client is a leading professional services firm in Malta providing audit, tax, advisory, and business consulting services as part of a global network. They are seeking to recruit an IT Systems Administrator who will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the organisation’s IT infrastructure to support seamless operations, strategic business objectives, and compliance with global and quality standards. Duties & Responsibilities Installing, configuring, and maintaining servers, hardware, software, and network systems; Monitoring system performance and proactively troubleshooting and resolving technical issues; Administering Microsoft 365 and cloud storage platforms; Ensuring compliance with global standards and ISO quality requirements; Repairing, maintaining, and replacing IT equipment as required; Evaluating, piloting, and implementing new technology solutions; Collaborating with senior management to prioritise IT initiatives; Identifying and improving processes to enhance operational efficiency; Managing IT asset procurement across the organisation; Planning, prioritising, and managing time effectively to ensure timely task delivery; Solving problems and making decisions efficiently within a fast-paced technical environment; Assisting with additional IT projects and tasks as required. Knowledge & Skills Diploma in IT or equivalent certification (MQF Level 5 or higher); A minimum of two years’ experience working in a mixed systems environment; Relevant IT certifications (MCSA/MCSE/MCSD) will be considered an asset; Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 services; Solid understanding of operating systems, hardware, databases, networking, firewalls, and telephony systems; Ability to support virtual (VMware) and cloud (Azure) environments; Proficiency in storage management, backup solutions, and data replication; Familiarity with endpoint protection, encryption, DLP, and security infrastructure; Experience with helpdesk and asset management systems; Excellent communication and documentation skills; Adaptable, flexible, and able to thrive in a fast-evolving environment; Strong time management, analytical, and problem-solving skills; Ability to collaborate effectively and interact with stakeholders at all levels.
Responsibilities
