POSITION OVERVIEW:

The IT System Administrator will play a critical role in managing and supporting the company’s IT infrastructure, ensuring secure, scalable, and efficient technology operations. This position will maintain and enhance our internal systems, networks, cloud services, and enterprise platforms.
You will serve as a key IT operations generalist responsible for everything from network infrastructure to endpoint management, while optimizing employee lifecycle processes and access control via existing systems and processes. This hybrid role blends technical hands-on IT systems support with strategic SaaS management and security practices.

QUALIFICATIONS:

The following qualifications and responsibilities serve as a position overview and are not exhaustive. Employees are expected to be team players and may take on additional tasks as needed.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3+ years of experience in IT System Administration, Network Support, or IT Operations.
  • Hands-on experience with Google Workspace administration.
  • Familiarity with SaaS platforms, identity and access controls, and user lifecycle automation.
  • Experience managing Cisco Meraki network infrastructure.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and cloud environments.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience with Rippling (IT and HR modules).
  • Familiarity with SaaS platforms like HubSpot, Monday.com, Office 365, and Loan Origination Systems.
  • Knowledge of SentinelOne or similar EDR platforms.
  • Exposure to Amazon Web Services (AWS) and cloud environments.
  • Scripting or automation capabilities (e.g., PowerShell, Python).
  • Industry certifications (CompTIA Security+, Network+, Google Admin) are a plus.

Responsibilities
  • System & SaaS Administration


    • Administer and optimize Rippling for user provisioning, device management, role-based access control, and workflow automation.

    • Ensure successful integration between Rippling and third-party platforms including HRIS, payroll, benefits, and identity management systems.
    • Provide support and configuration for additional tools such as:


      • Rippling

      • HubSpot
      • Google Workspace
      • Monday.com
      • Microsoft Office 365
      • Loan Origination Systems
      • Networking & Infrastructure


        • Manage and maintain Cisco Meraki networking equipment including routers, firewalls, switches, and access points.

        • Conduct regular performance monitoring, diagnostics, and ensure high network uptime.
        • Coordinate with third-party vendors and internal stakeholders for infrastructure planning and support.
        • Endpoint & Device Management


          • Configure and support laptops, desktops, and mobile devices across all departments.

          • Use MDM tools and Rippling to manage device provisioning, patching, compliance, and decommissioning.
          • Maintain accurate inventory and lifecycle tracking.
          • Access & Identity Management


            • Enforce best practices for Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and IAM policies.

            • Regularly audit and monitor access controls and user provisioning across all systems.
            • IT Helpdesk & Tiered Support


              • Provide Tier 2/3 support for employee hardware, software, and SaaS application issues.

              • Resolve escalated tickets and coordinate with team members for efficient incident management.
              • Security, Compliance & Monitoring


                • Manage and monitor endpoint protection via SentinelOne, ensuring timely alerts and policy compliance.

                • Support audit readiness by documenting IT controls, maintaining access logs, and enforcing device compliance.
                • Stay up-to-date with current cyber threats and proactively address vulnerabilities.
                • Automation & Workflow Improvement


                  • Create and manage onboarding/offboarding automation via Rippling and related tools.

                  • Implement system integrations and use scripting or APIs to automate manual IT processes.
