Description
We are looking for a motivated Systems Administrator to support our IT needs. This onsite role in Surat is ideal for candidates with some exposure to System Administration and Database Management. Strong communication skills and attention to detail are essential. ​Responsibilities: Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, servers, and peripheral devices. Monitor and troubleshoot hardware issues, ensuring minimal downtime. Manage asset tracking for IT equipment including desktops, laptops, printers, and networking devices. Coordinate with vendors for procurement, repairs, and warranty claims. Ensure compliance with IT security standards and organizational policies. Support system upgrades, hardware replacements, and preventive maintenance schedules. Document hardware configurations, maintenance logs, and inventory records. Provide technical support to employees for hardware-related issues. Requirements Skills and Experience: Bachelor’s degree/diploma in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related field. Proven experience in IT hardware installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance. Knowledge of networking basics (LAN/WAN, routers, switches). Familiarity with operating systems (Windows/Linux) and hardware diagnostic tools. Ability to coordinate with vendors and service providers effectively.
