What you’ll achieve As a IT System Engineer, you’ll be part of the global DIIT Transition & Launch Team. You will bridge R&D and our regional teams to shepherd new DeepUnity products (and features) from development into live customer environments. You’ll manage controlled change, validate cross-product integrations, lead pilot deployments, and ensure our support and service teams are fully prepared, making a profound impact throughout the healthcare sector. Key Responsibilities: Controlled Change Management Manage product changes in a controlled, auditable way—from design freeze through field introduction—ensuring traceability and compliance. Stakeholder Communication & Strategy Act as the primary liaison between Development, Product Management, and regional key stakeholders. Contribute to strategic decisions on new product features that impact live sites. Integration & Validation Perform cross-integration testing and validation across our medical-imaging portfolio. Oversee pilot and demo site deployments, gathering real-world performance data. Requirements & Customer Insight Gather and analyze customer needs during pilots; translate these into clear requirements for Development. Serve as a “service companion” in initial live installations—guiding regional teams through go-live activities. Knowledge Transfer & Documentation Establish and maintain communication channels after product introduction to ensure smooth handover to support. Produce and maintain service-focused documentation: runbooks, SOPs, installation guides, and training materials. Workshops & Training Design and deliver technical workshops and hands-on trainings for both internal teams and external stakeholders. Here’s what you’ll need to succeed: Essential Requirements A master’s, bachelor’s or equivalent degree with strong academic performance Knowledge of workflow within a hospital/clinical environment or experience within the healthcare sector is a plus Strong interpersonal skills and customer-service focus Excellent training and presentation abilities Fluency in English (verbal and written) Good understanding of and practice with virtualization solutions Good understanding of Linux operating systems and computer networks Track record of leading complex projects in software or high-tech fields, with proven experience across PM methodologies Solid grasp of software development processes Positive attitude, proactive self-starter, action- and results-oriented Well-developed analytical, diagnostic, and problem-resolution skills A strong team player, maintaining high quality in a challenging environment Continuous-learning orientation; keeps abreast of emerging technologies Willingness to travel and work out-of-hours if required Strong communication skills, troubleshooting skills, and ability to self-direct Desirable Requirements Knowledge of healthcare and medical imaging communication standards (HL7, DICOM, etc.) Previous Service Transition and Service Design knowledge is a plus, but not mandatory PACS/RIS system experience is a plus Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies is an asset Requirements-engineering experience preferred, but not mandatory Experience with medical-device regulations preferred (e.g., MDR, FDA) Product- or Program-Management background preferred, but not mandatory Technical aptitude with a clinical/hospital background preferred We are Dedalus, come join us Dedalus is committed to providing an engaging, rewarding work experience that reflects the passion our employees bring to our mission of helping clinicians and nurses deliver better care to their served communities.
