Your responsibilities include
From our central location in Nuremberg, we plan and implement infrastructure projects for our clients. We develop new solutions, modernize existing environments, and support technical changes from the initial requirements through implementation to documented handover for operation.
In addition, we support our operations and resident engineering teams with complex malfunctions and technical escalations in 3rd-level support. This ensures that experience gained from ongoing operations is directly incorporated into our projects and technical standards.
The supported environments include Windows servers and platform services, virtualization, storage and backup, as well as network and security components. We do not expect equally in-depth expertise in all of these areas.
You possess a strong, cross-functional understanding of infrastructure and sound practical experience in at least one specialist area, and you will directly contribute your existing expertise to our team. With our support, you will further develop your skills in related areas.
- Planning, conception and implementation of new customer requirements
- Independent handling of technical work packages in infrastructure projects
- Installation, configuration, migration and further development of server, virtualization, storage or network environments
- Coordination of technical solutions with customers, internal departments, operations teams and external partners
- Creation and further development of technical standards, operating concepts and solution documentation
- Preparing structured handovers of new or modified systems to the operating teams
- Support for rollouts, migrations, lifecycle measures and technical upgrades
- Implementation and documentation of changes according to defined processes and specifications.
- Handling complex technical malfunctions and escalations in 3rd-level support
- Remote support for our operations and resident engineering teams
- Systematic root cause analysis for malfunctions across multiple infrastructure components
- Knowledge exchange and technical support within the infrastructure team
You do not need to have mastered all of the following areas to the same degree. What is important to us is a solid foundation in at least one focus area, as well as a willingness to work at the interfaces with the other areas.
- Windows Server and Platform Services

- Setup and administration of virtualized server environments

- Migration and renewal of existing platforms
- Network and Security
- Switching, routing, VLAN and network segmentation
- Firewalls and basic security architectures
- Analysis of complex communication and connection disruptions
- Planning and implementation of network changes
- Interaction of network, servers, storage and applications
This is what you bring to our team
- Completed vocational training as an IT specialist for system integration or IT systems electronics technician, a technical degree, further training as an IT technician or a comparable qualification
- Several years of practical experience in the administration or further development of professional IT infrastructures
- Solid knowledge in at least one of the aforementioned specialist areas.
- A solid basic understanding of the related infrastructure disciplines and their technical dependencies.
- Experience in the structured analysis and sustainable resolution of complex malfunctions
- Ideally, experience in 3rd-level support, infrastructure projects, or a systems integrator environment.
- Confident handling of regulated incident, service request and change processes
- Ability to document technical issues in an understandable way and to coordinate with different contacts.
- Independent, structured and responsible work ethic
- Strong service, customer and team orientation
- Fluent German skills and good English skills
