What will you be doing? We are looking for an enthusiastic and creative IT System Engineer to join our growing Digital Services team. You will act as part of the customer’s Technology Team, and you will be providing expert technical customer support aiming at a five-star customer experience. This role encompasses back-end IT support for business-critical and development-related Marine companies that utilizing Navarino Digital Service Portfolio. In this role you will: Install, configure, and manage Windows Servers, NAS, Printers, Wi-Fi, and Computers Provide technical support and guidance to vessel end users including troubleshooting and new software installations Perform system maintenance in all aspects Create system backups and maintain system security Undertake organized project-based scenarios in terms of software/ERP or other third party apps on a per vessel/fleet basis Keep positive relationships with customers and assess customer feedback Administer efficient work of the vessel NDS infrastructure, analyze failures and assist to service restoration Manage and monitor system plans and supervise all activities for plan and unplanned systems Install and configure various applications and products of our portfolio Four-year degree in CS, EE, Math, or equivalent experience 3-5 years of experience on a similar role Expertise in Windows Domain Infrastructure Solid understanding of networking Experience with windows internals and troubleshooting complex issues Well organized and high attention to detail Security oriented mindset Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Greek and English language Great to have Master’s degree or vendor certifications such as Microsoft and Networking oriented Basic Linux knowledge should be considered as a plus Database knowledge is a plus Experience working in IT Administration Acquaintance with open-source tools and open-source philosophy Strong background and experience in Maritime Applications Beyond offering a working environment which values and supports people and their well-being, we at Navarino offer: An attractive financial package A generous bonus, announced yearly, based on overall company’s performance and your contributions to our team's success Excellent working conditions with a good work-life balance Excellent variety of benefits including private health insurance Personal development and training opportunities to build your professional growth, skills, and knowledge A working environment certified as a “Great Place to Work” for three years in a row (2022, 2023 & 2024)
