We are looking for an IT SYSTEM ENGINEER to perform the following activities: Deploy, and manage Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) environments Administer and maintain OpenShift and Kubernetes (k8s) clusters in on-premise Manage and optimize VMware virtualization infrastructure (vSphere/vCenter/ESXi) Perform advanced troubleshooting on Linux systems, networking, and storage Define operational procedures, automate workflows with Ansible, and develop scripts Collaborate with DevOps and Security teams to ensure platform stability, security, and scalability Manage platform lifecycle: upgrades, patching, backup, and disaster recovery Qualifiche What are we looking for in you? Experience and competencies Minimum 5 years of experience as a System Engineer or Linux Administrator Deep knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (installation, configuration, hardening) Proven experience with VMware (vSphere, vCenter, ESXi) Hands-on experience with Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes Familiarity with automation and IaC tools (Ansible, Terraform) Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset Nice to Have Red Hat Certifications: RHCSA, RHCE, EX280 (OpenShift Administration) Knowledge of GitOps and CI/CD pipelines (ArgoCD, Jenkins, GitLab CI) Experience with monitoring solutions such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack Soft skills: Problem solving Good communication skills Goal-oriented approach Self-Driven Proactive to solution Teamwork Languages: Italian (Fluent) English (fluent, oral and written) Ulteriori informazioni Why would you take the plunge?
