Forte Group is looking for a Senior IT System Administrator (m/f/d).
Hybrid role: 3 days in-office per week, with flexible day selection.
The IT Administrator is responsible for managing all hardware and software for the German business as a leader within the global corporate IT department. This role includes providing daily IT support, developing the IT infrastructure, and strategically aligning technological processes to improve the company’s digital maturity.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • At least 5 years of experience in IT, ideally with responsibility for overall IT operations.
  • Solid expertise in application integration and IT infrastructure management.
  • Experience managing servers, firewalls, backups, and end-user devices.
  • Familiarity with Bau4all is advantageous but not required.
  • Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.
Responsibilities

ROLE OBJECTIVES:

  • Ensure seamless IT operations across the organization, regionally and globally.
  • Develop and implement a forward-thinking IT strategy.
  • Support the optimization of processes and technologies to prepare the company for the next phase of growth.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee and maintain all IT systems, including hardware, software, and infrastructure.
  • Manage end-user devices (phones, printers, desktops/laptops) and provide technical support for troubleshooting issues.
  • Maintain and enhance IT infrastructure, including servers, firewalls, backups, and wireless networks.
  • Integrate and optimize applications to support business processes effectively.
  • Deliver technical support for all employees in day-to-day operations.
  • Work closely with senior management and the global IT team, to ensure IT aligns with strategic goals.
  • Analyze and improve existing processes to create an efficient and modern IT environment.
  • Bridge technology gaps to enhance IT maturity.
