About the Role The IT Systems Administrator plays a critical role in supporting Bogota Savings Bank’s technology environment and day-to-day operations. This role is responsible for maintaining, securing, and evolving the Bank’s systems and infrastructure while providing reliable technical support to internal teams. Working closely with colleagues and external partners, you will help ensure our technology is stable, secure, and aligned with the needs of a modern community bank. This is a hands-on, on-site role that balances systems administration, network support, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement. Your work directly supports employee productivity, regulatory compliance, and the secure delivery of services to our customers. Key Responsibilities Provide day-to-day technical support to end users, resolving helpdesk tickets related to hardware, software, systems, and applications in a timely and service-oriented manner Administer, maintain, and troubleshoot core systems including Windows Server environments, Active Directory, ADFS, Group Policy, and associated infrastructure Manage user accounts, permissions, access controls, and password resets across systems and banking applications Monitor relevant system, security, and application logs to identify issues, support troubleshooting, and ensure system availability and performance Support virtualization and hybrid environments, including VMware, Hyper-V, and Microsoft Azure, escalating complex issues as needed Support Office 365 services, including Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, and email security Perform routine patching, software distribution, backups, and device health monitoring; review and maintain related reports Manage end-user devices throughout their lifecycle, including deployment, configuration, inventory tracking, ongoing health monitoring, and secure decommissioning of hardware Assist with maintaining network services and security, including SD-WAN, VOIP systems, firewalls, antivirus, and intrusion detection Work closely with IT vendors and service providers to resolve technical issues and support system maintenance Maintain accurate technical documentation and assist with regulatory exams, audits, and compliance activities Travel to branch locations as needed to support end-user technology and local systems Requirements Associate’s degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; a bachelor’s degree is preferred Minimum of six months of full-time experience in a technology or systems support role; experience in a banking or financial services environment is highly desirable Strong proficiency in system administration and network administration Experience supporting Windows Server environments, Active Directory, and virtualization platforms Working knowledge of SD-WAN networks, VOIP systems, and network security concepts Experience with Microsoft Windows, macOS, Microsoft Office, and web-based applications Familiarity with cloud and hybrid environments, including Microsoft Azure Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and travel to branch locations as needed Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, Microsoft or Azure certifications) are a plus About the Candidate You are a technically curious and service-oriented professional who enjoys solving problems and supporting others.
