SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled IT Systems Administrator to join our Centralized Services team. The IT Systems Administrator plays a critical role in maintaining and optimizing our clients’ infrastructure. This position is responsible for administering infrastructure and solutions within Windows, Windows Server, Microsoft 365, and Azure environments. Responsibilities will include network administration, backup and continuity management, as well as serving as an escalation point for our technical support team.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining on-premises and hosted IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, continuity, and security of systems. Your expertise will be vital in supporting our clients’ technology needs and enhancing their business operations.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 3 years of proven experience in a systems/network administration or similar role in IT management.
  • Strong knowledge of IT and networking infrastructure, including firewalls, switches, DNS, DHCP, VPN, Hyper-V, and information security principles relating to them
  • Experience with firewall and network switch configuration and troubleshooting
  • Solid understanding of Windows Server environments and Active Directory
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 and Azure services administration
  • Commitment to cybersecurity best practices and implementation experience
  • Hands-on experience with backup platforms and disaster recovery strategies
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Microsoft certifications
  • Experience in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) or IT services environment
  • Familiarity with RMM tools (e.g., NinjaOne, Automate), documentation platforms (e.g., IT Glue), ticketing systems, remote support, etc.
  • Scripting experience in PowerShell or similar
  • Experience with RPA platforms and advanced automation is desired,but not required

Responsibilities
  • Administer, maintain, and optimize IT infrastructure, including servers, computers, networks, and storage systems.
  • Administer, maintain, and optimize Microsoft 365 tenants (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, Intune, etc.)
  • Manage Azure, virtual machines, AVD hosts, Azure Active Directory and Domain Services, and other azure services
  • Administer Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, Hyper-V, and VMs
  • Configure, Manage, and monitor backups and continuity solutions for servers, workstations, and cloud hosted solutions
  • Monitor and support network infrastructure, including firewalls, switches, VLANs, and VPNs
  • Ensure systems security through regular updates, monitoring, and implementation of best practices
  • Handle escalation tickets from Tier 1/2 support for advanced troubleshooting
  • Automate and streamline IT operations using scripting and RMM/RPA tools
  • Collaborate with the engineering team on systems design and implementation projects.
  • Maintain documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures
