Description
Allegheny Science & Technology (AST) is seeking an IT Systems Administrator/ CMMC Compliance Specialist with a strong focus on security and compliance to support AST in Bridgeport, WV. Key Responsibilities Administrate, configure the Microsoft GCC-High 365 Admin center, Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Defender, and the Microsoft Azure Portal to comply with CMMC and DFARS. Maintain compliance with CMMC and DFARS. Maintain virtual servers and networking equipment. Maintain GoDaddy account and services. Maintain AvePoint backups. Regularly evaluating and maintaining network performance, including LAN/WAN and wireless connections. Responsible for issuing, renewing, and deploying certificates to endpoints (servers, appliances, devices, etc.) so that network services are uninterrupted. Managing security protocols, firewalls, and conducting regular data backups to ensure system integrity. Educating staff on new software, security best practices Update technical documentation to reflect system changes. Maintain the Microsoft Teams phone system. Administrate the company SharePoint site. Adding new areas, applying the proper access to users. Required Qualifications 5 years of experience Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience Other Qualifications: U.S. Citizenship is required. These include, but are not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and competencies that align with the specific role, geographic location, educational background, and contract provisions related to labor categories specific to the position. We are committed to offering a competitive compensation package that reflects the value and expertise that each candidate brings to our team. The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is $100,000 - $175,000.
