ABOUT THE ROLE:

Flogas is seeking an experienced and motivated IT System Administrator (Level One) to join our IT team. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to work with a wide range of platforms and technologies, ensuring a dynamic and engaging work environment.
As an IT System Administrator, you will play a critical role in maintaining and improving our IT infrastructure, ensuring system security, stability, and performance. You will be responsible for providing hands-on technical support, managing system configurations, responding to security concerns, and participating in IT projects. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide technical support for both hardware and software issues encountered by end users, ensuring timely issue resolution.
  • Manage and configure client-based computer operating systems, ensuring optimal performance and security.
  • Respond to and resolve help desk requests, troubleshooting system issues and escalating where necessary.
  • Monitor system performance daily, proactively identifying and resolving security or usability concerns.
  • Administer servers, networks, and web systems, ensuring high uptime and optimal performance.
  • Deploy patches and upgrades to operating systems and applications, ensuring systems remain up to date.
  • Perform daily IT security checks, ensuring compliance with security policies and frameworks.
  • Contribute to IT projects, including the rollout of new client solutions and infrastructure improvements.
  • Identify opportunities to improve IT operations, enhance security, and streamline processes.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices to enhance system efficiency and security.
