CAREER OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented IT System Administrator to join our dynamic IT team. This role is critical in maintaining the integrity, performance, and security of our server infrastructure and backup systems. You will play a key role in planning and executing system upgrades, data migrations, and ensuring operational continuity.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3 to 5 years in a System Administrator or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of server hardware, virtualization, and backup technologies.
  • Experience with Windows Server environments and Active Directory.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices and compliance frameworks.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • College or University degree in IT.
  • Experience with cloud platforms and hybrid environments.
  • Scripting and automation (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Power Automate).
  • Experience with Linux environments.

SECURITY REQUIREMENTS

Responsibilities
  • Maintain and monitor server infrastructure, including backups and disaster recovery systems.
  • Plan and execute system upgrades and data migrations with minimal downtime.
  • Collaborate with IT and business teams to support infrastructure needs for ongoing projects.
  • Ensure compliance with internal security protocols and external regulatory standards (e.g., Controlled Goods, NATO Secret, ISO 9001/27001).
  • Document system configurations, procedures, and changes.
  • Provide Tier 1/2 support for escalated technical issues.
  • Participate in IT audits and contribute to annual reviews of system access and device authorization.
