As an IT Systems Administrator at LetsGetChecked, you will be a valuable IT team member responsible for supporting and maintaining the organization’s technology infrastructure. You will assist in troubleshooting technical issues, managing system configurations, and ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems and networks.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • A bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft certifications) are a plus
  • Basic understanding of IT systems, networking, and security
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Good communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to changing technology environments
  • Team player with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality IT support
  • Spanish as a second language preferred
Responsibilities

User Support:

  • Provide technical support to end-users, addressing hardware and software issues through effective troubleshooting and issue resolution
  • Assist with user account management, including provisioning and deprovisioning

System Maintenance:

  • Assist in installing, configuring, and maintaining hardware, software, and networking equipment
  • Conduct routine system updates, patches, and software installations

Network Management:

  • Assist in managing network components, including switches, routers, and firewalls
  • Monitor network performance, identify issues, and implement solutions

Security:

  • Assist in implementing and maintaining IT security measures, including access controls, firewall rules, and anti-virus software
  • Participate in security incident response and remediation.

Documentation:

  • Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of IT documentation and knowledge base

Backup and Recovery:

  • Participate in backup and disaster recovery processes to ensure data integrity and business continuity
  • Assist in testing and validating backup and recovery procedures

Vendor Coordination:

  • Work with external vendors and service providers to address technical issues and manage service contracts
  • Collaborate with vendors on equipment procurement and maintenance.

Training and Development:

  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance IT skills
