Minor Bros. Farm Supply Ltd. is looking for a leadership-minded IT System Administrator to support MB Country Living Retail Stores and E-Commerce along with Minor Bros Animal Health and Nutrition production feed mill and distribution warehouse. You will be responsible for ensuring all our locations and staff members receive exceptional customer service and IT support. This is a hands-on job that will require you to spend most of your time onsite at our various locations. The successful candidate takes pride in the quality of their work, approaches tasking with urgent, yet positive energy, and shares our commitment to excellence in customer service and personal accountability.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• 2 - 5 years proven career experience
• Degree or college diploma in information technology
• Experience with VMWare, Cisco, storage technologies a plus
• Client-focused with a positive, service-oriented attitude
• Ability to work independently with direction or as part of a team
• Windows, Mac, Linux, experience required
• Experience supporting cloud technologies such as Google Apps/Office 365
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle required

Experience:

DAILY TASKS WILL INCLUDE:

• Responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, network servers, and virtualization
• Serve as the second level of contact for troubleshooting and responding to end users via telephone, email, ticketing
• Provide accurate, time sensitive, and effective solutions for end user computer problems, productivity applications, printers, and smartphones
• Problem-solve around obscure technologies and complex issues in a creative way
• Adhere to support policies, processes, and procedures
• Provide education and training to customers and peers as necessary
• Audit and maintain an accurate hardware inventory of assets managed by the company
• On call rotation as required

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

• Serve as the primary level of contact for troubleshooting, responding to end users via telephone, e-mail and established ticketing system
• Provide education and training to peers as necessary
