JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking an experienced System Administrator with a strong background in setting up and managing on-premises Microsoft Server environments from the ground up. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in configuring, securing, and maintaining Microsoft-based systems and services. Experience with Linux servers is a plus. Aviation Industry experience is preferred.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 3 years of hands-on experience managing Microsoft Server environments.
  • Strong knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policies, and Windows Server administration.
  • Familiarity with server virtualization technologies such as Hyper-V or VMware.
  • Ability to configure server roles and features from scratch in an on-premise environment.
  • Experience with backup and disaster recovery planning for server infrastructure.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Good documentation and communication skills.
  • Aviation Industry experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
  • Install, configure, and maintain on-premises Microsoft Windows Servers (e.g., AD, DNS, DHCP, File Server).
  • Manage Active Directory, Group Policies, and user account administration.
  • Monitor server performance and ensure high availability of infrastructure.
  • Perform system upgrades, patches, and backups to ensure system security and reliability.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and networking issues related to servers.
  • Maintain documentation for configurations, procedures, and incident resolution.
  • Collaborate with other IT staff to support network, security, and infrastructure initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with internal security policies and industry best practices.
