Description PURPOSE STATEMENT Western Missouri Medical Center is seeking a Systems Administrator to support and maintain core IT infrastructure, cloud services, and security-related systems in a fast-paced healthcare environment. This role is responsible for administering and supporting a mix of on-premises and cloud-based technologies, including Microsoft 365, identity management, server infrastructure, telecommunications systems, and backup and recovery solutions. The position will play a key role in ensuring system reliability, security, and operational continuity. This is a hands-on role in a lean IT environment where team members are expected to operate across multiple technical domains and take ownership of assigned systems while supporting broader IT operations. Requirements ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Administer and support Windows Server environments, virtualization platforms, and core infrastructure systems Perform system configuration, maintenance, patching, and performance monitoring Support server builds, upgrades, and lifecycle management Administer Microsoft 365 services including Entra ID, Exchange Online, Azure, and related cloud platforms Support identity and access management processes including user provisioning and role-based access Assist in maintaining secure configurations and access controls Administer and support backup and recovery solutions across on-premises and cloud environments Support and administer Cisco Telecommunications systems (Call Manager, Webex and related platforms) Troubleshoot telephony and communication system issues Coordinate with vendors for support, maintenance, and upgrades Support implementation and maintenance of security controls across systems and platforms Ensure systems are maintained in alignment with organizational security standards and HIPAA requirements Identify and escalate potential security risks or vulnerabilities RequirementsEDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS 3 to 5 years of experience in systems administration, infrastructure support, or related IT roles Experience with Windows Server, Microsoft 365, and basic networking concepts Strong troubleshooting skills across systems, infrastructure, and user environments Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS Must be able to sit and stand intermittent 8 to 10 hours a day. Must be able to use standard office equipment, including the telephone and computer keyboard. Continuously works under pressure of near 100% accuracy while meeting inflexible deadlines. Continuously utilizes manual/bi-manual dexterity, near vision, speech, and hearing. Frequently stands, walks, sits and utilizes eye/hand coordination and color definition. Occasionally reaches above shoulder, regularly required to lift and/or carry up to 40 lbs. Occasionally walks on uneven surfaces.
