The IT Infrastructure Systems Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex IT infrastructures that integrate software, hardware, and network components to meet the organization’s technological and operational needs. This role uniquely bridges the gap between development and operations, focusing on ensuring cohesive and efficient functionality across the entire IT infrastructure. The IT Infrastructure Systems Engineer collaborates closely with various teams to ensure optimal performance, scalability, and security of systems while contributing to the continuous improvement of infrastructure processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and maintain Operating systems on end-user devices.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights across various systems and applications.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and perform regular maintenance tasks. (e.g., updates, patches, backups).
  • Plan and execute system upgrades and migrations while minimizing downtime and disruption to operations.
  • Generate regular reports on system performance, security incidents, and compliance with IT policies and standards.
  • Analyze data trends and metrics to identify areas for improvement and make
  • recommendations for optimization.
  • Provide technical support and assistance to end users, including troubleshooting
  • hardware and software issues, and resolving technical problems.
  • Deliver training sessions and create user guides to help employees utilize IT systems and tools effectively.
  • Collaborate with other IT teams and departments to address user needs and enhance overall system usability and productivity.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:

  • Bachelor’s (3-Year) degree, with a technical major / Computer Science.
  • 3-4 Years System / Server administration experience in the Middle East Region.
  • Strong understanding of IT systems, networks, and infrastructure components
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on meeting deadlines and objectives.
  • Aptitude for identifying root causes of problems and implementing effective solutions
