Description

We are seeking a highly self-motivated and versatile Systems and Security Administrator to manage our IT infrastructure.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a hands-on environment and can balance day-to-day support with more advanced systems and security responsibilities.
As the primary IT professional in the organization, you will be responsible for providing helpdesk and desktop support, maintaining and administering our company servers /networking infrastructure, and overseeing cybersecurity measures.
Key Responsibilities:

User Support and Endpoint Management

  • Serve as the primary helpdesk for all technical issues (Tier 1–3).
  • Support desktop/laptop provisioning, software installation, updates, and troubleshooting (Windows OS).
  • Manage printers, mobile devices, and local peripheral hardware.

Server and Domain Management

  • Administer Active Directory, including user/group management, OU structure, and GPO creation/modification.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot Windows Server environments.
  • Manage and support on-premises Microsoft Exchange Server (mailbox creation, policies, and maintenance).
  • Ensure proper patching and backups of critical systems.

Network and Security Administration

  • Manage FortiGate firewall including policies, NAT, VPN tunnels, and logging.
  • Administer FortiSwitches, including VLAN configuration and port security.
  • Maintain SSL/IPsec VPN access for remote users.
  • Support 2FA implementations via FortiAuthenticator or similar.
  • Monitor and respond to security incidents and alerts; maintain endpoint protection tools.

IT Operations and Strategic Support

  • Monitor system health and performance; proactively address potential issues.
  • Plan and execute hardware/software upgrades.
  • Ensure regular system backups and assist with disaster recovery planning.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and IT asset inventory.
  • Evaluate and recommend improvements to IT systems and processes.
