Job Title: IT Systems and Support Manager Job Code: AZ 10556 Client: State of Arizona – AZCC Location: Phoenix, AZ (Hybrid – Local Candidates Only) Duration: Contract to Hire (Until 09/04/2026) Rate: $70/hr (W2) | $80/hr (C2C/1099) Position Overview The State of Arizona (AZCC) is seeking an experienced IT Systems and Support Manager to lead network systems, cloud infrastructure, and support operations. This role is responsible for ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of enterprise IT systems while managing support teams and driving strategic initiatives. Key Responsibilities Manage network systems and IT support teams, ensuring high availability and performance Lead helpdesk and support operations for end users and external customers Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for network and cloud architecture Oversee cloud systems (Azure) and enterprise infrastructure Participate in IT strategy, planning, and governance initiatives Coordinate and support IT projects and technical initiatives Ensure implementation of security best practices and compliance standards Troubleshoot and resolve complex network and system issues Manage vendors, systems, and infrastructure operations Required Skills & Experience 3+ years of IT management experience Strong experience with: Complex TCP/IP network configurations VLAN and Layer 3 switching Virtualized hardware and storage environments Experience managing enterprise network infrastructure and support teams Preferred Qualifications Experience with: Windows 11 imaging and troubleshooting Microsoft Exchange, Hyper-V, SharePoint, SQL Server Cisco switching and network technologies Knowledge of Azure cloud infrastructure and enterprise systems Familiarity with IT governance frameworks (ITIL, COBIT) Key Competencies IT Infrastructure & Network Management Cloud & Enterprise Systems (Azure) Technical Leadership & Team Management Network Security & Architecture Troubleshooting & Problem Resolution IT Governance & Strategy Important Notes Hybrid role (3 days onsite / 2 days remote) Local Phoenix candidates only Must be eligible for full-time conversion (no visa sponsorship) Must be available for in-person interviews within 1 week Background check and drug screening required (HireRight) Primary Skills IT Management, TCP/IP, VLAN, Layer 3 Switching, Virtualization, Azure, Cisco, Windows, Exchange, Hyper-V, SharePoint, SQL Server Flexible work from home options available.
