IT SAP Plant Maintenance Consultant Department: INT Networks Applications Reports to: Manager - IT Applications Location: In Office, Boston MA, Orange CT The base salary range for this position is dependent upon experience and location, ranging from: $144,631.20 - $180,789 Job Summary: The IT Systems Consultant - SAP role understands the strategic direction of the Information Technology (IT) organization, the supporting systems/technologies, and architectures at an enterprise level. This position is responsible for assisting in the definition of the architecture and technology needs of the IT organization based on emerging technologies. This role is also responsible for establishing priorities consistent with business needs and goals. Serve as a technical and functional SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) consultant and advisor to IT management and the business community. The incumbent will be expected to effectively administer, maintain, and develop applications and/or technology solutions. Additionally, the incumbent will provide technical expertise and support for complex technical problems as well as effectively manage multiple priorities, challenging and rigid deadlines. Key Responsibilities: Performs as the technical subject matter expert in SAP Asset Management (SAP PM Module). Knowledgeable of SAP-related products and technologies and understands systems integration. Understands the value and impact of SAP technology as it applies to business processes. Provides technical leadership to projects, teams, and business initiatives as required. Accountable for working with project teams and management to resolve technical issues. Maintains knowledge of emerging technological trends and utilizes this knowledge to educate both IT and the business community to better utilize SAP solutions that support and drive business decisions. Identifies and evaluates new technologies/services and establish/recommend strategic direction. Provides solutions to complex technology issues, providing direction as required. Stay current on technologies within assigned business area. Leads, plans, coordinates and provides activities associated with SAP technology, and can adjust priorities in a dynamic fashion to account for changes in business needs. Provides vendor management support of contract negotiating. Has supervisory responsibility for ensuring initiatives are carried out according to standards and SLA`s. Expert knowledge/experience in area of focus. Applies risk management concepts. Creates and enforces standards as well as recommends policies and procedures. Mentors staff on technical subjects and business-related information. Participates in the interview process as requested and provides input and feedback for performance reviews. Demonstrates superior leadership and communication skills with a focus on SAP Asset Management (SAP PM Module) Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, Engineering or a related field and a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Prior experience designing and implementing SAP Asset Management (SAP PM Module) solutions. Knowledge of SAP structures, configuration, standards, object dependencies, and tables are required. Experience with functional application, including mastery in SAP Asset Management (SAP PM Module), and SAP modules, including SAP FI-CO, SAP HR, SAP WMS or SAP Supply Chain. Prior experience successfully leading large, complex, technical development projects. Prior experience mentoring and/or coaching developers. Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience with S4Hana migration/transformation.
