WORKING HOURS

Normal hours of work are Monday to Friday inclusive. The postholder is required to work such hours as are necessary in order to satisfactorily perform the role.

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

    We are looking for a skilled and motivated Software Developer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software applications that meet user needs and business objectives. You’ll work closely with product managers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality code and contribute to continuous improvement of our software development practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
  • Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  • Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects and performance issues
  • Contribute to code reviews and maintain coding standards
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices

  • Assisting in the setup of new user accounts and providing basic orientation to new users on the usage of computer systems and related software applications.
  • Maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of IT support tools, technologies, services, and procedures within the organization’s network environment.
  • Responding promptly to customer inquiries regarding computer system problems or service requests through phone calls or service tickets.
  • Knowledge of ServiceNow ticketing system and associated workflows
