The RoleAs an IT Systems Engineer, you'll play a key role in supporting and developing the infrastructure that underpins advanced engineering systems. You'll work across Linux and Windows environments, physical servers, networking and specialist hardware, ensuring systems are reliable, secure and ready to support business growth.You'll collaborate closely with Infrastructure, DevOps and Engineering teams to resolve technical issues, improve operational processes and help automate infrastructure deployment and management.

• Key ResponsibilitiesBuild, configure and maintain IT infrastructure, including physical servers, operating systems and networking equipment.
• Support Linux and Windows environments across engineering and business-critical systems.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure issues across hardware, operating systems, networking and connected devices.
• Configure and maintain network infrastructure, including managed switches, VLANs, firewalls and segmented networks.
• Support the integration of specialist hardware and bespoke technical equipment into IT environments.
• Assist with server provisioning, infrastructure deployment and system configuration.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, runbooks and operational procedures.
• Contribute to infrastructure automation and configuration management using tools such as Ansible, Terraform or similar.
• Work collaboratively with Infrastructure, DevOps and Engineering teams to deliver reliable, scalable technology solutions.
• Help improve processes through automation, documentation and continuous improvement initiatives.
