Position Overview: We are looking for a temporary IT Systems Engineer to support one of our clients during an active office relocation. This is a highly onsite, hands-on role with strong ownership expectations, focused on end-user support, vendor coordination, IT validation, and post-move troubleshooting. Third-party vendors are already engaged for physical moving, network infrastructure, wireless access points, CCTV, and door access systems. The IT Systems Engineer will serve as the onsite IT point of contact, ensuring readiness, quality execution, and a smooth transition for employees. This is a contract 3-months opportunity with potential extension. This is a hybrid role with 3 days in the office. Responsibilities: Provide Tier 2 deskside and end-user support for onsite employees Troubleshoot Windows endpoints, peripherals, and general IT issues Support and validate Zoom Rooms and Logitech conference room setups Assist users before and after the move to minimize disruption Act as the onsite IT lead during the office relocation Coordinate with and oversee third-party vendors responsible for: Office moving and reinstallation Wireless access point deployment CCTV systems Door access systems Validate IT-related setups meet expectations and escalate issues as needed Perform post-move validation and troubleshooting Pack, organize, and inventory IT storage equipment (spares, peripherals, monitors, accessories) Maintain accurate inventory tracking throughout the move Ensure IT assets are accounted for and properly staged post-move What will you bring to the role? and how will you stand out? 3+ years of Tier 2 IT support experience (deskside/onsite) Strong Windows OS and endpoint troubleshooting skills Hands-on experience or troubleshooting familiarity with FortiGate firewalls Experience supporting Zoom Rooms and Logitech hardware Strong verbal and written communication skills Comfortable working onsite and coordinating with vendors Highly organized, detail-oriented, and ownership-driven Ideal Candidate Profile: Confident working independently in an onsite environment Comfortable supervising vendors and validating quality of work Proactive, organized, and calm under time-sensitive conditions Strong focus on execution, coordination, and end-user experience Arctiq is an equal opportunity employer.
