ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Microsoft operating systems, up to and including Windows 11 & Server operating systems.
  • Ethernet Networking including Layer 2/3 Switches,
  • VLAN’s, NIC’s, Wireless Networking. (802.11b/g/n)
  • Minimum 3 years I.T. Support experience, including
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft SCCM, AD, AZURE and M365
  • VMWare Virtualisation technologies.
  • PowerShell scripting.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Are you ready to take the next step in your IT career? Gardners is seeking a proactive and detail-driven IT Systems Engineer to join our dedicated technical team. In this hands-on role, you will play a vital part in maintaining and supporting the IT infrastructure that underpins our global distribution network.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain, support, and secure on-premises and cloud-based infrastructure systems.
  • Provide advanced technical support across desktops, and IT hardware.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
  • Supporting Microsoft IIS, SCCM, Exchange servers and M365.
  • Active Directory and Group Policy
  • PowerShell scripting
  • Support other TLG businesses as needed, both remotely and on-site.
  • Participate in out-of-hours support and maintenance activities as required.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good ability to learn new technical knowledge.
  • Full Driving Licence.
  • Able to work through tasks to completion within agreed timescales and standards.
