Job Description We’re looking for a skilled IT Systems Engineer with a primary focus on Windows Server Administration to join our global IT Infrastructure team. In this role, you will participate in the evaluation, testing, implementation, and management of infrastructure systems supporting PSI’s business operations across the APAC region. Key Responsibilities Maintain, upgrade, and improve company IT infrastructure systems Manage and maintain virtualization platforms, primarily VMware Administer Windows Active Directory, virtual machines, and servers running primarily on Windows Support and maintain Microsoft 365 services: Exchange Online/Hybrid, SharePoint, Teams, Intune, and PowerApps Ensure reliable and consistent backup operations using Veeam Collaborate with international IT teams across Europe and the US Qualifications Must-have qualifications University degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field Full professional proficiency in English (written and spoken) Expert knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server and Windows Active Directory, including hybrid identity integration with Entra ID and Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) Strong understanding and hands-on experience with SMTP, SPF, DKIM, DMARC, and Microsoft Exchange in high-availability and hybrid configurations Knowledge of virtualization concepts and practical hands-on experience at VMware Certified Professional level (certification is a plus) Hands-on expertise with Microsoft 365 tools and services Practical experience with Veeam for backup and disaster recovery Experience in designing, implementing, and managing complex IT infrastructure projects, adhering to high-availability architecture and security-by-design principles Ability to document and maintain detailed technical documentation and procedures Good to have Experience with virtualization technologies other than VMware, such as ProxMox or Hyper-V Familiarity with Microsoft Azure, Entra ID, Identity and Access Management (IAM), and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) Proficiency in PowerShell or other scripting languages Experience with automation tools and workflows Knowledge of monitoring systems, patch management, and incident management processes Understanding of change management methodologies and best practices Basic experience in Linux administration Additional Information What We Offer A collaborative international work environment, «follow the sun» support model Opportunities to work on large scale, global infrastructure projects Competitive compensation and flexible work arrangement Meaningful mission – be part of a clinical research organization that helps brining new medicines to the patients
